(OOC: Posted as an entry for Rockets only, and also sent in as a report.) :
The Great Rocket has taken full control of the island, although the location of the Grand Masters is currently unknown, to me at least.
We at the Psychic Club are currently holding a hostage: the owner and manager of one of the most important commercial activities on the island. We are awaiting instructions on what to do with her.
Moreover, a farce is being carried out so nobody discovers the affiliation of the Psychic Club with the Team.
This is all for now.

I now have a Dragonite ex Delta. It's a Grass type. Can you guys imagine Dragonite as a Grass type? I sure can't. But this one is. I wonder if I'll be able to trade it for one of those Gardevoir ex Delta I need... One of the people I regularly trade with wants a Flygon ex Delta (a Psychic type) for their Gardevoir ex Delta, but, as you can imagine, I do not trade my Psychic type exes. *Sigh* I guess I'll have to look for somebody else who has a Gardevoir ex. :
In other news, the guys at the Noctowl League seem to have taken a real liking to us. They invited us to one of their tournaments this month, and we're all eager to go. There is a very interesting person at that club, some Steve (homonym of our Grand Master Steve, and he also likes Lightning-type cards. *snicker*) who is an excellent player and just keeps winning tournaments. The last deck I saw him play with had Metagross in it... I wonder if he would ever move here and join our club. I'll have to ask him.
Now for some Murray rant, one which partly explains why I am always very diffident towards family affection.
If, for whatever reason, during a tournament, you ever feel the need to scold your child who's participating to it, I, and/or any judge or TO who possesses even just a tiny bit of common sense, DEMAND you save the scolding for some time and place OUTSIDE the context of the tournament. THANK YOU MUCHLY.
I am one who greatly values self-esteem, and it ENRAGES me to see parents who think they can bring down their child's confidence during MY tournaments and at MY club, just because they're their parents and all that crap.

I admit it has been a while since I last updated this. :
A new tournament season started. I have a new deck in the works (I wonder where I'll find those new Gardevoir ex... Right, Blue?), a few events to organize... And a newly hatched Psyduck to train.
I must say I expected the critter to be somewhat louder. I'm guessing it's because it's Argantes' son. Teasing "Argie" about his unconfessed urges has officially become one of my favorite pastimes. He's frustrated, and he knows that!
In other news, our Club recently discovered and visited a TCG club in the mainland, the Noctowl League. It's in the outskirts of Pewter City, and it looks like a small country cottage. There's a small bar, a games shop, and the play area. I find it all rather cute. When we visited, there was a tournament going on (that is, if you call "tournament" something with only 8 people). One of the players had a really nifty Banette ex deck... Mm.
The final round was FlAriados vs MetaNite (heh, archetypes) ... And, against all odds, the FlAriados won. That dude had a tremendous luck. Hm.
As a final question... What on Earth is up with Bill?

We must be the only trainers who get mail from THEIR OWN POKEMON. *shakes head* :
Summary of the letter above: we now have a Psyduck egg.
November 15th, 2006
Just some quick news:
Thanks to the Grand Masters' extremely clairvoyant policy about energy saving, we on TCG Island won't be getting any heat at home until December.
Yay. No wonder the Fire Club is so popular right now.
As for us, having a Jynx taking singing classes in the house (yes, Irene is *that* out of her mind) doesn't really help.

Envy me, for I have a Beldum. :
Even though Irene has been hogging it since it got here. She says she's trying to get it to learn some theoretical maths. Well, it won't hurt, I guess. But I don't want it to become as lazy as Irene's Pokémon, so it's MY Beldum from now on.
Sadly, its magnetism tends to interfere with my laptop a little... Which means that it's frequently confined into its Poké Ball. *shrug* Ah, well.

The airplane hit the ground...
We've been closed in mourning for a few days.
The tournament a few days ago was okay... 40 participants, which was completely unexpected, even by the organizers. Also, the guy who won was someone none of us had ever seen before. Huh. Normally, I'd do some research on the dude. However, I don't really feel like it right now.
I haven't heard from Silver in a while... I wonder if the news reached him.

(OOC: Private entry.) :
... Geez. Who knew that losing friends would be THIS hard? When was the last time I *cried*, anyway? Gah. It's times like these that I'm glad I don't have many friends at all.
I will always remember him.
Apparently, we're no longer needed at our workplace, so we're back on TCG Island. After all, it has been a good experience, and I'm glad we finally have some savings. :
I just found out that Steph and my students are participating to a series of tournaments at the Challenge Hall. Sounds fun, but I'm pretty drained at the moment and I'd rather take a break. Besides, the subscriptions must have been closed by now.
Oh, and my Natu evolved. Not much else to say.

(OOC: This is a private entry.) :
Note to self: your lies are okay, but you should work on telling some better ones.
What's the point, anyway? Reality IS one big lie, after all. Otherwise we wouldn't have things, like, Mr. Mime, Ditto and Sudowoodo. And art. What is art, if not a beautiful lie?
Okay, I'm tired and this is utterly pointless.
